M.A. Thesis, 2023.
"Io sono te" ("I am you") is a short documentary film that presents the two faces of one of the many Italian popular neighbourhoods - the “Sperone” of Palermo, the capital city of Sicily. In this short, made both with live-action footage and 2D-animated shots, the two sides of this type of environment are portrayed - one that is rich in art and will to redeem the suburb and the other defined by crime and tragedy. The aim of this project is to raise awareness towards these urban contexts.
